You know what I would love to write? That my True date with Pete, the crazy laugher, went wonderfully. And as far as the food goes, it did. It was some of the best stuff I’ve ever had. The chef is Korean, but from Maryland, I think, so he makes the most amazingly unique food that I’ve ever had. So good. But not everything about dinner was great. For one, Pete was there.
That was quick. I have another date with Pete. And yes, yesterday I said that I’d do anything to avoid a second date. But since I turned off my computer last night, I never wrote him back. That meant that today he could write the following message:
I’m at work of course, but for the first time in, I don’t know, ever, I’m jittery. Why? I have to make a decision. After my disastrous date with Pete (we’ll call it the Chinatown Fiasco), I spent the next fourteen hours thanking God I’d never have to see the guy again. Well- I forgot.
