Flirting Message by Message
Wow! After I pounded out a reply to my grammatically challenged friend, I started getting nervous. What would he say? Or reply? Last night I went to the Village Pourhouse- for a New York bar, it’s pretty much like a frat. So it gave me some time to think about possible romance. When would I hear back from him? Today I logged into True and found it. I put what he wrote in Italics and my thoughts in parentheses….

Pete
(At first, I was very confused about this. Stay formal? Does that mean he wants me to dress up when we go to Chinatown? But then I realized that it meant to keep my grammar up to speed. And that I can do.)
Still, I’m not sure if he was flirting or just being polite? He did say we could hang out. But what time? When? Does he want to have children? OK, I’m kidding on that last one.
But at least this gives me something to do on a cold Saturday- think about what I’ll write back.
