Catching Up With Adele
The past few days I’ve been courting a brunette.
Blondes haven’t cornered the market on dumb.
Today I messaged Adele. It might be too soon. But I don’t really care.
When can we go out again? I’d like to see you sometime.
Now I have to wait for her to write back. Meanwhile, the brunette has been all too prompt in sending me messages. We’re already planning what we’ll do on our date. Her idea? TV. I’m not surprised.
