I’m In Trouble
If you couldn’t tell from my last post about disciplining kids, dating with children can be tough (forget about being married with children!). Well, James and I finally had a fight about it. And I don’t know what to do.
His son is normally an angel, I swear. But at dinner the other night, he was being ornery about eating his vegetables. I told him that he needed to eat them or he’d go to bed without dessert. And so that’s what ended up happening.
I thought it was reasonable, but James wasn’t sure. He was upset with me for not waiting longer. But what was I supposed to do? That night, we didn’t talk anymore.
I felt like I was the one being punished.
