Adele Writes Back (Finally)
I’ve been in purgatory. Or maybe just hell. Somehow eHarmony matched me with the brunette. She can barely read. But she can write- unfortunately. I’ve had to suffer through her messages while I waited for Adele to reply. Was worried I’d mash my keyboard in, but got an e-mail today.
Jack- So sorry it has taken me a while to reply. Your message was sweet- I would love to see you sometime soon. I was at a conference that came up at the last minute. But I shall return soon. We’ll talk then. ~Adele
I sighed. Relief. And I wasn’t surprised that she used the word “shall.” She seems like the kind of woman who’d be able to pull a word like that off.
