Snowed in Chicago
Lately, I realized I’ve been dwelling on the hard parts about online dating. But there’s also sometimes that can be perfect, magical, and totally unique. Take, for example, right now.
I’m here in the computer room. James and the kids are in the living room, curled up on the couch and watching Shrek for the seventh time. The whole room smells like the lunch we made, and I know that there’s a dinner ahead.
Sometimes online dating can be tough. It involves a lot of fear, exposure, and thinking about who you really are. But sometimes it also means warm Saturdays inside.
Being snowed in isn’t bad when you’ve got somebody to share it with.
