Bridging the IM Gap
I still had a few more questions to ask my crush about dormitory life. And I realized I hadn’t even asked the most important one during the course of my IM inquisition- did he have a roommate? I trembled as I typed….
Me: So…how many people live in your room?
Him: what?
Me: Roommates. Do you have roommates?
Him: oh, yeah. two guys.
Me: Two!?
Him: it’s a triple.
Me: Are you serious?
Him: yep. two roomies. believe it or not.
I didn’t want to believe it. We didn’t have “triples” when I was in school- that seemed sadistic. Now, apparently they’ve institutionalized three ways. How are you supposed to get alone time?
At least we’ve settled that, if we ever do go on a date, he’s trekking over to my place.
