Today, I was stood up.

OK, so the guy that I was dating showed up to our date. But he acted like a different person- he might as well have not been there at all…Have you ever been stood up by somebody who was there, but not really “present” at all? I feel like I’m alone when the guy I know isn’t next to me.

The problem is that when you’re really stood up, you can just leave.

When you’re stood up like this, you have to stay.

I was at work, of course.

I can’t jump away from my life at a moment’s notice. But now she’s accusing me of not wanting to meet up.

Is it fair?

No.

Can I change it?

I wish I knew how.

I was write in saying that it pours when it does rain. But the sun comes out quickly again.

That’s the thing about online dating- the stress of life online is tough- the easy connections, hookups, and fun can fade so quickly. But the good thing is that you can pick yourself up and see the sun again. A good deal, right?
