Introductions: It Actually Isn’t Raining
Well, I’ll take it as an omen. It’s not raining. About the first time that’s happened in a while, so it has to be a good sign. I’m in Seattle, you know, so that’s something. It’s humid though. It’s always a little humid here. But I’ll take what I can get. I took a walk outside and enjoyed not having to cover my head.
Please spare me the Sleepless in Seattle jokes, by the way. I am an architect, but I don’t have a kid. And I don’t have Tom Hanks’ charm. Most importantly, I think Meg Ryan was crazy in that movie. Despite that, I’m going online to give it a try. Oh- and I don’t have a houseboat like Hanks either. But maybe my denials are just showing I’ve seen the movie too many times.
I don’t know- I work a lot. So I haven’t had time to go out to bars, hit up plays, or whatever people usually do. I’m signing up for eHarmony. We’ll see how it goes. eHarmony seems like a good fit for me, and I admit that I’d like to go out a few times and actually have a social life. Then, I’ll be happy even when it is raining.
Back to work. I have a project due later this week, but I’ll be posting. Give me your best. And feel free to give me an umbrella too.
