Lunch With Kurt
I finally had lunch with Kurt, even though it was conflicting with James. It was great to finally sit down and be with someone, instead of just moping and worrying. But our date wasn’t perfect…
At one point, Kurt mentioned how he knew what it was like having kids.
“How?” I asked.
“My niece. She’s young. A hand full.”
His niece? Did he really think that having a niece was the same as the full time job of parenting? I can’t imagine that he does, but maybe he thinks that’s all it is. Babysitting and toys. But it isn’t. I’m going to have to find out more about that before he and I go any further.
Kids are kids- not just relatives.
