Being A Criminal is Exhausting
Getting a fake ID? Not so easy, my teenage friend. I called up my ex and told him that I needed it. The hard part was telling him that I needed it for a guy I hadn’t even met yet.
“Why do you need it?” he asked me. I waited.
“Uh, for my cousin.”
“Is he cute?”
“What?”
“Your cousin. Is he cute?”
“Craig! He’s my cousin.”
“OK, I’ll do it.”
“Great- I’ll just get you his picture.”
Then I realized. My crush is white. And I’m not.
Some plausible cousin, huh?
